Terms and Conditions:

1. This Offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India

(‘HSBC’) and Doorstep Retail Pvt. Ltd. (‘Milkbasket’). Any participation in the said Offer is voluntary.

2. The Offer is applicable to existing and new HSBC Credit Cardholders, excluding Corporate

Cardholders (hereinafter individually referred as ‘Credit Cardholder’ and collectively referred to as

‘Cardholders’).

3. Cardholders are required to use their valid HSBC Credit Card (‘Card’) to avail the Offer.

4. During the Offer Period from 01 October 2020 till 31 Dec 2020 (‘Offer Period’), Cardholders on

using their valid HSBC Card on Milkbasket mobile App, will be entitled to additional credit to their

Milkbasket wallet within 72 hours of the transaction as per following offer construct(‘Offer’):

A: New Milkbasket users: Additional credit up to INR600 on a minimum top up transaction of

INR4,000 with promo code; HSBCNEW. Offer valid only on the first Milkbasket order after

registering as new user.

B: Existing Milkbasket users : Additional 5% credit up to INR300 per user per month on a minimum

top up transaction of INR3,000, Separate promo code is not required for existing users to avail

the Offer as an existing user.

5. Multiple Cards held by the same Cardholder will be eligible for the Offer separately on each Card.

Add-on Credit Cardholders will have separate Offer eligibility.

6. Offer is not valid on top up done to Milkbasket wallet on Milkbasket website. Cardholders need to

use Milkbasket mobile App to avail the Offer.

7. The Offer is not valid on net banking, commercial and Corporate Cards and equated monthly

installment (EMI) transactions issued facilitated by HSBC.

8. Appropriate credit will be applied only on using valid Cards on top ups made on Milkbasket mobile

application during the Offer Period for the minimum Net Transaction Value as per the Offer.

9. The Net Transaction Value is the total purchase value arrived at after all applicable discounts,

including other applicable coupon codes (if any) have been applied. The Cardholders are advised to

check the applicability of the Offer before making the payment.

10. In case of cancellation of the transaction (in part or full), the additional 5% credit will not be credited

and standard cancellation policy of Milkbasket (as specified on Milkbasket Terms and Conditions)

will apply.

11. Offer is valid only on top-up transactions to Milkbasket wallet using valid HSBC Cards.

12. Subsequent prepaid/cash on delivery orders on Milkbasket thereafter will not be eligible for Offer.

13. These Offers can be availed only if the full payment is made using an HSBC Card. Transactions

where payment (partial or full) is made using any other mode of payment (other bank cards or e-

wallet options) will not be eligible for the Offer.

14. The Offer is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Milkbasket and the Cardholders are required to

refer, read, understand, accept and agree to be bound by them prior to availing the Offer.

15. HSBC does not endorse any of the products or brands being offered by Milkbasket and does not

make any warranties or representations as to the quality, merchantability, suitability or availability of

products on Milkbasket. Any dispute regarding these must be addressed in writing, by the

Cardholder directly to Milkbasket on email id: or by calling on Milkbasket

customer care on the Milkbasket mobile application.

16. HSBC and Milkbasket reserve the right to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these

Terms and Conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, these Offers by another offer, whether similar

to this Offer or not, or to withdraw it altogether at any point in time by providing appropriate notice.

17. The Offer may/may not be extended as mutually agreed by HSBC and Milkbasket.

18. HSBC and/or Milkbasket reserve the right to cancel an order/transaction in case of any fraudulent

activity including creating duplicate accounts, aliasing, placing multiple orders or violating the Terms

and Conditions. Upon cancellation, the order will not be reinstated. HSBC shall not be liable for any

refunds or compensation in case of said cancellations by Milkbasket.

19. HSBC will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered,

as a result of participating in the Offer.

20. The usage of credit cards is governed by the applicable Terms and Conditions. Please visit

21. Prior to availing the Offer by making any purchases on Milkbasket website and/or mobile

application, the Cardholder should refer, read, understand, accept and agree to the user agreement

and Terms and Conditions of the said website and mobile application, and proceed only if the

Cardholder agrees to abide by the same. The Cardholder might be required to give personal

information and other details online. The Cardholder should read and understand the privacy policy

of the website and mobile application, prior to providing any such information. Any disclosure of

information made by the Cardholder towards availing of or fulfilment of the Offer is at the sole

discretion of the Cardholder and HSBC will not be responsible for the same. Merchants may use

the personal information shared by the customer for any other purpose (like marketing, etc.) and

HSBC shall not be held liable for such usage of personal information.

22. The benefit associated with the Offer will not be settled in cash under any circumstances

whatsoever.

23. Product warranty will be regulated by the Terms and Conditions mentioned on the warranty card of

respective product/manufacturer.

24. Any defects, deficiency, claims, issues, damages or losses arising with respect to the

product/services shall be the sole responsibility and liability of the manufacturer/seller or the service

provider and HSBC will not be responsible for the same.

25. Any query regarding the Offer will be entertained during the Offer Period only.

26. The Offer is valid in India for adults of a sound mind only.

27. This Offer shall be subjected to all applicable central/or state laws, rules and regulations.

28. This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000, and the rules

there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various

statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated

by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

29. HSBC reserves the sole right to decide on whether a purchase meets the eligibility criteria listed

above. All decisions in respect of the Offer will be at the discretion of Milkbasket and HSBC and the

same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. Other than the specific entitlements available to

the Cardholder under the Offer, any other claims with regards to the Offer against HSBC are

deemed waived.

30. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Card shall be subject to the exclusive

jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai only. The existence of any dispute shall not, by itself, constitute any

claim against HSBC.

31. The Offer is subject to force majeure events.

32. Tax liability, if any, will have to be borne by the Cardholder.

33. Please note that basis Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and notified GST rates, Central

GST and State/Union Territory GST or Inter-state GST, will be levied as applicable.

34. By participating in the Offer, Cardholders are assumed to have accepted all the aforementioned

Terms and Conditions in their totality.
