OnePlus Assured Buyback Program is available for Rs 199

OnePlus will offer 70% max buyback and 40% mini buyback on OnePlus 6T purchases

starting Jan 19

OnePlus India has introduced a new OnePlus Assured Upgrade program which works similar to how Apple’s iPhone upgrade program does in the US. The OnePlus Upgrade Program will be applicable for those who purchase the OnePlus 6T starting January 19, 2019 during the Republic Day sales on Amazon.in and OnePlus exclusive offline stores. The OnePlus Upgrade Program will cost buyers an additional Rs 199, and will offer them a maximum of 70% buyback and a minimum of 40% buyback on the purchase value of the OnePlus 6T smartphone. OnePlus says that the buyback will be offered between 3-12 months from purchase date of the device on upgrade to a future OnePlus flagship.

This could also be seen as a hint to when the next OnePlus smartphone will hit the market. If OnePlus starts offering the Assured Buyback program starting January 2019 and says that the buyback will be offered between 3-12 months on a future OnePlus flagship, it could mean that the OnePlus 7 or whatever the next OnePlus flagship is called, will launch in April. This also coincides with OnePlus’ 6 month smartphone refresh cycle.
